Fibonacci lines are based on a numerical sequence discovered by Leonardo Fibonacci in 12 century. The first two memvbers of the sequence are 1 and 1. The next memeber is a sum of two preceeding members:
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377 ...
The members of Fibonacci sequence have interesting properties. For example each member is about 1.618 times larger than the previous one, or the current is 0.618 times smaller than the next one. This quality is used in construction of Fibonacci lines.
To draw the Fibonacci line, click the right mouse button on an empty space within the chart area. Choose Draw from the pop up menu and then specify the desired type of the line. Then you can draw or edit it in the same way as a regular trendline.
