To launch IDLe for the first time you should do the following:

• Make sure that a supported analytical system is installed on your computer.
• If you are using MetaStock Professional, make sure that the data source is "Signal (Broadcast Version)".
• If you are using TradeStation make sure that the data source is "DBC | eSignal online". Then start the GlobalServer, from the menu "Tools | Run setup wizard" launch the setup application and enter:
  • Data connection method – Real-time/Delayed
  • Datafeed to install – DBC Online SubServer
• Install the IDLe from the received distribution file.
• If you have MetaStock and the local time on your computer differs from Moscow, launch Equis Real-time configiration and make the adjustment to the Central European Time (Adjust data record time, for Moscow it is "-2" and is set by default, but for New York it will be "+6").
• Launch IDLe.
• If you would like to use MetaStock in the real time mode, adjust the IDLe's settings as follows: Keep the Connection and Synchronize Time.
• Determine the list of instruments and intervals you are going to use. Mark them for initial download. If you have TradeStation do not use intervals longer than D1. Also, limit the number of intervals to 4-5 per currency. It would significantly improve TradeStation's performance.
• Establish the Internet connection. If you don't know how to do it, consult your provider.
• Click the "Start download" () button and select File->Start from the menu.
• Enter your login and password in the appearing window. If the server address field is empty, enter "dataman.akmos.ru:15609" there. The connection to the server will only be established if correct login and password are entered. If you don't have a trading account, you won't be able to use IDLe.
• If you have entered the correct login and password, the data download should begin automatically. Normal downloading will manifest itself through activity in the window (moving yellow cursor) and the activity of the indicator.In the case of an error message, you can find its meaning here.
• We recommend to complete the download prior to launching the analysis program. To speed up download you can use an option "Fast download". In this case login and password is not checked but only a two month historical archive is downloaded.
• If you use TradeStation, you need to add symbols to GlobalServer (start TradeStation or Global Server) when the initial download is complete. In order to add a new symbol(s) follow this procedure:
  • in the GlobalServer menu item "Insert | Symbol"
  • in the new window press button "Add from dictionary"
  • in the new dialog box choose "Category" – "Forex", "Exchange" – "AKMOS", int the field "Search for" specify "*"
  • Press "Find" button
  • In the left hand side there is a list of all available instruments now. Chose those you are going to use. In the "Add DBC forexes" choose an empty line
  • Press "Add" button
  • Check "Template to use". We suggest to use "Stock history template", although it's safe to experiment.
  • Press "OK" button
  • In the GlobalServer choose menu item "Edit | Select all"
  • In the GlobalServer choose menu item "Edit | Connect Symbol"
